Ryan Adams' Follow the Lights EP is released this week, and includes two new songs as well as seven tracks re-recorded live in the studio. Other discs I can wholly recommend this week include the Black Dice's Load Blown, Castanets' In the Vines, Phosphorescent's Pride, The Scotland Yard Gospel Choir's self-titled debut, Tullycraft's Every Scene Needs a Center, and Ween's La Cucaracha. Of the week's releases, I have probably spun Saturday Looks Good to Me's Fill Up the Room the most, it's one f my favorite discs of the year so far.
Notable reissues this week include my favorite Neko Case album, The Virginian, Of Montreal's If He Is Protecting Our Nation... Who Is Protecting Big Oil, Our Children?, and two Black Moth Super Rainbow discs: Start a People and Falling Through a Field.
