12 Stones - The Last Song review. Although it's been a rising controversy as to whether 12 Stones is a Christian band or not, it's no doubt they're "Christians in a band" as Paul's said himself in the past, and this song stands out as their most spiritual. In the song, Paul sings indirectly to God about losing everything and needing Him and only Him. "Take it all away from me and tell me how you want this to be, I want you, I need you." He makes it pretty clear that he's singing vertically in the verses "You never change, never stay the same like a picture-perfect sunrise," pretty aggressive for a "praise song," and I mean that in a good way.
12 Stones - The Last Song Lyrics
I'm sorry for needing you to carry me
So simple sometimes when you're standing next
To me
You never change you never stay the same
Like a picture perfect sunrise every time with
One last song to sing
Take it all away from me and tell me how you
Want this to be
I want you i need you
A life without you made me wonder why i'm here
Until i found nothing ever seemed so clear
You never change you never stay the same
Like a picture perfect sunrise every time with
One last song to sing
I lose myself in everything you say i lose myself
In everything
I never knew that i could
